Job Description

  • This position reports into the GBU TM&U Market Head and will be required to provide strong process & technical leadership, with hands on experience in managing regional delivery function.

  • Should have a good understanding of processes, industry best Practices and key metrics.

  • Responsible & accountable for end to end operations and for seamless delivery of operations for an entire region aligning to company global directions.

    Role Expectations

  • Develop & refine relevant processes, systems and tools to deliver delivery services to TM&U clients.

  • Develops new approaches and processes, which contribute both to stepchange improvements in current area, and to business growth / efficiency in wider organization.

  • Responsible for communication of strategy / initiatives / high level performance metrics.

  • Manage delivery teams across accounts owning and reporting on following key Metrics

  • Revenues growth

  • Account growth through account farming for new opportunities

  • Maintain & ensure project margins meeting targets

  • Maintain / Optimize operating costs

  • CSAT – At all levels (Tactical, Operational and Strategic)

  • ESAT g. Collections and Cash Position

  • Ensure clients are proactively engaged on a transformation journey with automation, process engineering tools and techniques are implemented.

  • Lead customer steerco’s and executive meetings and attend to customer issues and requirements.

  • Contribute towards developing account business plans and provide accurate and timely forecasts.

  • Identify, Hire & manage a team of project managers, delivery managers, & technologists as per the requirements.

  • Managing Billing (Invoicing) & Revenue Forecasting.

  • Locating & managing third party vendors and
    partners for delivery and KPIs

  • Manage & mentor the technical team to deliver a customer-first delivery experience

  • Accountable for overall direction of multiple, large, complex operations, functions or projects, which may contain significant scope, ambiguity, risk & geographical diversity.

  • Collection & Maintenance of variance data & creating feedback loops to improve the function based on variance data analysis.

  • Responsible for delivery to agreed service levels and defines key performance indicators/project milestones.

  • Has major input to budget setting/financial.

  • Interact cross-departmentally, extensively with, Sales and Support organizations, to influence the appropriate action and/or attention to the issue at hand.

  • Provide regular reporting and departmental updates to senior management and key stakeholders

    Skill Sets

  • Telecommunications industry experience is a must; should have worked at different operational levels.

  • Strong project management and analytical skills complemented with proactive management approach - ability to coordinate with teams at GBU level.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with expertise in managing customer / internal communications.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Self-starter use to working in start-up environment with minimal direction.

  • Multi-cultural or international experience.

  • Strong business modelling, operational management and contract negotiation expertise.

  • Ability to work independently on complex problems and collaborate across cross functional teams

  • Willingness to travel & on short notice.

    Work/Professional Experience:

  • 15 – 20 years of experience with at least 10-15 years in leading the Professional Services capabilities.

  • Professional certifications in project management / Telecommunications frameworks.
