Job Description

  • Candidates who apply for this role must be available immediately to start with previous experience in the insurance industry.

    Duration:

  • 6 months contract

    Seniority:

    Executive, CFO, Board member

    Primary objective:

  • Request for a senior/experienced CA (7-10 years post) who is available for a 6 month and experience to assist with a transition.

  • Ensure smooth handover of responsibilities between outgoing and incoming CFO.

  • Stakeholder relationship between management, auditors and other key stakeholders.

  • Technical and accounting services.

  • Insurance Experience necessary.

    Education:

  • Chartered Accountant CA(SA)

  • Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years post articles

  • Extensive experience in the insurance industry

    Skills and attributes:

  • High level of numeracy

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Methodical

  • Problem analyzing and solving

  • Good communication skills

  • Work well within a team
