Duties

  • Develop and improve maintenance strategy to ensure implementation.

  • Manage preventative maintenance program as per International Maintenance Best Practices.

  • Ensure equipment safety and integrity is maintained.

  • Ensure legal compliance is achieved in terms of machinery regulations.

  • Lead and provide guidance to technical team to achieve goals.

  • Maintenance costs manage to budgets (Opex).

  • Plans and manage capital expenses (Capex) and lead projects.

  • Manage engineering stores and ensure correct levels of critical spares.

  • Liaise with internal customers and suppliers regarding technical issues.

  • Identifies and address critical training needs for technical team.

    Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ Years of Management experience (Crucial).

  • Management skills.

  • Great team leading skills.

  • Great technical skills when it comes to Mechanical Engineering.

    Qualification:

  • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Trade Test (Fitter and Turner/Millwright/Electrician) – Advantageous with your Mechanical Diploma or degree.

  • Management Diploma – Advantageous.
