Execafrica Recruitment Limited Fleet Assistant - Nairobi Jobs in Kenya; Our client, Execafrica Recruitment Limited, is seeking to recruit a Fleet Assistant to support company fleet operations in Nairobi. The successful candidate will ensure vehicles and motorcycles are available, well‑maintained, efficiently utilized, safely operated, and compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all motor vehicles, including registration, insurance, and maintenance schedules.

  • Coordinate regular maintenance and repair schedules for fleet vehicles.

  • Monitor fueling, vehicle usage, and maintain fuel consumption inventory data.

  • Ensure vehicles are inspected, serviced, and compliant with legal and safety requirements.

  • Maintain relationships with external service providers and prepare vendor service request documents.

  • Prepare and process documentation related to registration, insurance, and maintenance.

  • Serve as point of contact for drivers and staff regarding fleet issues.

  • Communicate with departments to ensure efficient vehicle use.

  • Support route planning and optimization for efficiency and cost effectiveness.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.

  • Attend to vehicle breakdowns and coordinate emergency response.

  • Assist in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

    Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Fleet Management, Transport and Logistics, or related field.

  • Training in Automotive Service Technology, Fleet Management, or Transport Logistics an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a fleet of vehicles and motorbikes.

  • Knowledge in vehicle mechanics.

  • Computer literate.

  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.

  • Proactive, flexible, and initiative‑driven problem solver.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).

  • Good supervisory skills.
