Job Description

EthSwitch is the National Switch owned by all banks (private and public) operating in Ethiopia, the National Bank of Ethiopia and some MFIs.

EthSwitch has been established mainly to Create Interoperability between financial and payment service providers, develop & Institute Domestic Payment Scheme, and provide Shared Infrastructure/Platforms to Financial Institutes. The mission of the Company is ’’Making Payments Simple and Affordable’’, and its Vision is ‘’To be best in class Payment Network in Africa by 2035.

Under the direct supervision of his/her supervisor, the Procurement Officer I receives purchase requisitions from different work units, performs purchases for authorized request; ensures safety of purchase items during transport, delivers purchase items to requesting work unit or stores.
