Job Description

EthSwitch is the National Switch owned by all banks (private and public) operating in Ethiopia, the National Bank of Ethiopia and some MFIs. EthSwitch has been established mainly to Create Interoperability between financial and payment service providers, develop & Institute Domestic Payment Scheme, and provide Shared Infrastructure/Platforms to Financial Institutes.

The mission of the Company is ’’Making Payments Simple and Affordable’’, and its Vision is ‘’To be best in class Payment Network in Africa by 2035.\

The Director for Marketing and Innovation Department plans, directs, or coordinates marketing policies and programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered by a firm and its competitors, and identify potential customers.

S/he develops pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the firm's profits or share of the market while ensuring the firm's customers are satisfied. S/he oversees product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.

S/he coordinates the innovation processes of the company in the areas of product development, process improvement and application of technology for innovation.

Job Requirements

BA/MBA/MA/MSc degree in Marketing Management, Management, Project Management or related

fields of study.

8/6 years of relevant work experience out of which 3 in supervisory or senior positions

Competence in MS Office, Leadership or Emotional intelligence, and negotiation skill.
