Job SummaryThe position requires an engineer to design, develop, update and customize building-house software and applications for National External Quality Assessment (EQA) data collection, analysis and reporting activities.
The main duties and responsibilities include understating and developing requirements, documentation, and conversion of requirements into the appropriate software/applications.
The position requires software transformation across functional bodies / team’s inM&E performance, designing, implementing new PT programs and deployment of software applications using websites and mobile applications to avail data and ease use of data access for participant health facilities and the organization.
Designing and developing software systems using ISO 13258 scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences towards full filling of ISO 17043 statistical requirements.
Analyze in-house software’s and new application requirements to fix/improve/maintain or develop solutions
Modifying software to fix logic/errors, adapt it to new platform/hardware improve its performance related and or upgrade user interfaces.
Directing software programming and documentation development.
Consulting and working with different teams on technical issues including software system design, development, maintenance and hosting
Analyzing information to recommend and plan
the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
Evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
Conferring with the team member to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
Prepare user guide for different level of users
Perform other related activities as found to be relevant
Job Requirements
MSc degree in computer science and software engineering or related fields
At least 7 years of related demonstrated progressive experience in software development.
Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.
Must have Excellent knowledge of appropriate Web and Internet technology, and object oriented and scripting programming languages like Java#, Asp.NET, PHP and CSS/HTML/JavaScript, MVC frameworks, it and Source code control, Unit Test is a plus.!
Must able to developed Full-Stack and demonstrate knowledge and excellent understanding of software engineering.
Experience in working on a variety of software development projects web based and desktop/mobile
Ability to objectively analyze situations and make recommendations for decisions
A candidate with demonstrated creativity is always a plus.
