Job Description

  • Support the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the UNISDR biennial work plan. Monitor and analyze programme developments and implementation; review documents and reports; identify problems and issues to be addressed and propose corrective actions; liaise with relevant parties; identify and track follow-up actions.
  • Participate in the development, monitoring and evaluation of the WADA,IAAF system joint work programme including the biennial global work programme of the WADA system and other multi-partner joint programming initiatives, particularly at global and regional levels in coordination with the Inter-Agency Group.
  • Assist in developing draft work plans and other planning instruments.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and methodologies consistent with monitoring of implementation and methods of evaluation on matters relating to the programme.
  • Assist in enhancing an integrated process of planning, programming, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation. Research, analysis and present information gathered from diverse sources.
  • Assist in the design/enhancement of data collection tools.
  • Coordinate the results based management planning and reporting To WADA and ministry of finance
  • Assist in the coordination of evaluations (internal and external) including drafting Terms of Reference, liaising with international & regional offices and partners, and independent experts.
  • Coordinate activities related to budget and funding (programme preparation and submissions, progress reports, etc) and
    prepare related documents/reports (work programme, pledging, etc.)
  • Provide substantive support to consultative and other meetings, conferences, etc., to including proposing agenda topics, identifying participants, preparation of documents and presentations, etc.
  • Prepares various written outputs, e.g. draft background papers, analysis, sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications, etc.
  • Handle all other activities assigned by the supervisor

    Job Requirements

  • A minimum of BA degree in Degree in Economics, Management, Business Management, Advanced in Statistics,
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Technical and Other Skills

  • Knowledge of managing multi-donor fund;
  • Accuracy and analytical ability;
  • Well organized and ability to act in a professional and ethical manner;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Have high leadership role and coordination ability
