Job SummaryThe Environmental Health, Safety and Quality Control Junior Officer reports to the Health, Safety and Quality Control Assistant Manager and the Operational Unit Manager.
He or She is responsible for the review, development and performing internal quality assurance audit procedures and preparing internal quality assurance reports reflecting the results of the work performed at operational unit level.
Work performed will include coverage of functional and operating units, focusing on operational processes, health and safety, risk, environment and bio security.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for management of Environment, health, safety and quality at operational unit level.
Assist with implementation of the Environment, health, safety and quality components of the IMS at operational unit level.
Implement the health, safety and quality management plan at operational unit level.
Responsible for Environment, health, safety and quality-related monitoring at operational unit level.
Maintain monthly Environment, health, safety and quality records at the operational unit level and compile summary statistics for operational unit.
Prepare monthly Environmental health, safety and quality reports for operational unit.
Management of environment, health, safety and quality-related training at operational unit level.
Recommend changes to protect workers and educate employees on how to prevent health problems through the use of safety training programs.
Collect necessary environmental samples and keep necessary records.
Address issues
related with environment, health, safety and quality problems at operational unit level in collaboration with other departments.
Audits ongoing processes to assure continued compliance.
Ensures that all information of a confidential nature is held in a secure and confidential method.
Implements Company’s corporate social responsibility strategy.
Provide daily guidance and direction on EHS and QC programs for the employees / supervisor level to ensure a common and effective approach;
Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards (such as Global gap, IFC Performance Standards, HACCP, and ISO).
Investigate accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
Prepares activity-based report and based on strategic plans and achievements.

Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, food science, environmental Health Science, Environmental Engineering, bio-processing engineering, Geography and Environment study and any other related fields.
