Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Paralegal Clerk II Jobs in Kenya


Job Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ relevant work experience from a recognised organisation.

  • Diploma in Law.

  • Certified Court Process Server.

  • Demonstrable skills in computer applications.

    Job Responsibilities

  • File pleadings at court registries to ensure efficient and effective representation of the Commission, promoting favourable rulings.

  • Update legal statutes as required.

  • Serve court processes.

  • Conduct official searches at the Companies Registry, Lands Registry, Motor Vehicles Registry, and Government Printers.

  • Handle correspondence, acceptance, and acknowledgement of service of court processes on behalf of the Directorate.

  • Ensure safe custody and retrieval of files within the Directorate to preserve legal documents.

  • Update the Legal Services & Asset Recovery Directorate’s Court Diary to support prosecution in courts.

  • Open files, maintain records, and close files recommended for closure.

  • Liaise with auctioneers for purposes of recovery of assets and costs.

  • Type letters and notices; draft decrees and orders for filing and service.

  • Register and collect legal documents at relevant registries.

  • Fix hearing dates in various court registries
