Ernst & Young Onsite Technology Support Associate Jobs in Kenya; The Onsite Technology Support Associate performs multiple technology support activities in providing end‑user support to Firm personnel. This professional demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks, working with multiple software and hardware technologies in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with deployment of hardware and software to end users, including installation, configuration and testing of firm hardware.

  • Support provisioning and de‑provisioning processes for new hires and separating employees.

  • Coordinate repair of end‑user hardware and reinstallation of software to resolve incidents.

  • Resolve incidents associated with firm‑standard software and hardware, including mobile technologies.

  • Provide after‑hours service for escalated issues under minimal supervision.

  • Assist with off‑site support for firm‑sponsored functions and meetings.

  • Perform asset management responsibilities as assigned.

  • Support IT tasks related to office moves, build‑outs and relocations.

  • Operate as “remote hands” for other IT functions such as Telecommunications and Hosting.

  • Maintain thorough understanding of IT Services’ organization and offerings to address end‑user needs.

  • Understand the Firm’s business sufficiently to anticipate and resolve technology issues affecting productivity.

    Job Requirements

    Education

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree with minimum of Upper Second‑Class Honours or equivalent.

  • KCSE grade of B overall, with B in English and Mathematics.

    Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time‑management skills.

  • Strong customer service attitude.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of end users and IT personnel.

    Analytical / Decision‑Making

  • Strong analytical skills to address escalated incidents and walk‑up issues.

  • Ability to prioritize incidents and communicate priorities to end users.
