Equity Bank Performance, Benefits & Insight Manager Jobs in Tanzania
Job Purpose
Responsible for building and maintaining the performance measurement architecture of the Business Excellence function, including transformation dashboards, benefits realization tracking, productivity metrics, revenue leakage visibility, and executive performance reporting.
Translate institutional data into actionable business insights that support executive decision-making.
Establish measurement standards, baseline methodologies, value-capture tracking frameworks, and performance reporting structures that demonstrate transformation impact.
Build credible management information from fragmented and low-maturity data sources while defending analytical methodologies and findings with confidence and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Measurement & KPI Architecture
Design and maintain the institution's KPI architecture, defining performance measurement standards across strategic and operational areas.
Track and analyze performance against the institutional Balanced Scorecard, including financial, customer, process, and learning and growth dimensions.
Develop and monitor productivity metrics tailored to the branch banking environment.
Benefits Realization & Value Capture
Establish and manage benefits realization frameworks, including baseline setting, measurement methodologies, and post-implementation tracking.
Identify and quantify revenue leakage and value-capture opportunities across the organization.
Develop cost-to-serve models to support efficiency improvements, pricing decisions, and operating model optimization.
Validate business cases and assess delivery of expected financial and operational outcomes.
Dashboards & Executive Insight
Design executive dashboards that are accurate, easy to interpret, and actionable.
Produce data-driven transformation and performance reports for executive leadership and governance committees.
Translate analytical findings into concise, decision-ready business insights.
Support Voice of Customer (VoC) and customer experience analysis through performance analytics and reporting.
Data Foundations
Build management information and analytical insights from fragmented and low-maturity datasets.
Develop transparent methodologies that withstand executive scrutiny and challenge.
Maintain data integrity and governance while operating within secure IT and Finance data environments.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or another quantitative discipline.
Postgraduate qualification is preferred but not mandatory where strong analytical capability can be demonstrated.
