Equity Afia Pharmaceutical Technologist Jobs in Kenya


Responsibilities

  • Dispense and manage pharmaceutical products in accordance with professional and ethical standards

  • Provide guidance on medication use and patient counselling

  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and stock levels

  • Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board regulations and facility protocols

  • Support procurement and storage of medicines under proper conditions

  • Collaborate with clinical teams to promote rational drug use and patient safety

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and health information management activities

    Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology

  • Minimum of 3 years’ post‑internship working experience, preferably in a hospital setting

  • Registered and with a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board

  • Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems)

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
