Equity Afia Pediatrician Jobs in Kenya; Equity Afia is seeking a qualified Pediatrician to join its medical team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will evaluate complex medical cases, interpret clinical data, and provide expert guidance on patient care strategies, regulatory compliance, and health policy. The role also includes supervising and mentoring the clinical practice of other healthcare professionals within their area of expertise.

Qualification

  • Master of Medicine in Pediatrics (or relevant specialization).

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB or MBBS).

  • Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

  • Registered as a specialist with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).

  • Proficiency in computer skills, especially Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).

    Experience
  • At least 2 years of postgraduate work experience or evidence of supervision by a senior specialist.

  • Knowledge of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior healthcare professionals.
