  • A leader in providing Digital Mobility products and solutions to customers across the globe seeks to hire an Enterprise Sales leader within the Banking & Financial Services Institution sector and with experience in Africa.

  • The company’s products are designed to meet the business needs of financials services, telecoms and retail verticals sub-sector, hence experience in this sector is critical.

    Role Description

    The role description of the BFSI Sales person is to:

  • Lead the Sales efforts of the region with focus only on the BFSI segment in Africa.

  • Looking for candidates who have managed more than $5 M Annual Order Book Accounts

  • Generate and close new leads in the (Banking & Financial Services Institution) BFSI segment in the region

  • Self-motivated individual who can go out and create new business and preferably has a network in financial markets in Africa.

  • Development of relationships with key decision-makers/influencers, CXOs, senior executives within prospect organizations.

  • Determine qualified leads through evaluation of prospect requirements and development of a concise understanding of prospects’ decision-making processes and criteria.

  • Coordinate product demonstrations and workshops for perspective clients.

  • Demonstrate customer-specific benefits of products with a high degree of proficiency

  • Analyze and understand customer insights and market trends and work with the BD/Product management team to deliver solutions

  • Proactively own the entire sales process and be able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Targets: Overall, responsible for ensuring that order booking and other sales target are met

  • Client Relationship: Ensure Customer Satisfaction is high in the region, driving the targets for the entire region by engaging with the clients and ensuring highest levels of service from the MFS products

  • Collections: Overall, responsibility of ensuring collections and payments from the accounts handled in the region

  • Process Compliance: Ensure all processes related to Bid Management, Sales Funnel reporting &
    tracking, Sales Forecasting etc are adhered for the region

  • Account Management: Build Account Management & Solution selling in the region.

  • Internal stakeholder management: Work collaboratively to drive efficiencies with internal teams of the organization (Product teams, Channel Sales, Delivery organization etc) and create win-win situations while handling customer engagement on the ground

    Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate with an MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferable

  • 8-10 years of sales experience with a proven track record of accomplishment in the BFSI segment

  • Knowledge of MFS, Fintech and its Ecosystem is a must.

  • Demonstrated experience of selling into Banking/Financial Services Industry Software in Africa.

  • Strong industry/CXO level connects in Banking and/or Financial Services Industry Software in Africa.

  • Go-getter and Entrepreneurial.

  • Experience of working in environments where the sales process involves multiple tiers of engagements and where the sales cycles are long and consultative

  • Pleasant persona with good networking ability

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong strategic acumen coupled with execution capability

  • Excellent communication skills, matured in conduct and command

  • Ability to understand business and number driven

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Fluent in English. French fluency will be an added advantage
