Pestalozzi Education Center, which is a school of the Enko Education group is seeking a motivated individual to become the college /university admissions counsellor.
The objectives of the college counsellor at Pestalozzi Education Center are to:
Support final grade students at the school to manage university applications b) educate all students regarding higher education opportunities, application and admission procedures
Description of the role:
To become familiar with Cialfo and manage students’ activities using it. Cialfo is the electronic platform for the university application process at Enko schools.
Become an Enko counsellors’ team member and act under the supervision of the group university admission manager
Show dedication to professional development in the field of college counselling
Carry group informative sessions with the target audience (students and parents) regarding the study options, application procedures and other university admission related topics.
Ensure students' participation in university webinars, online fairs and workshops
Interview final grade students individually and support to:
Create a shortlist of desired universities considering the desired major, country, university type, financial situation and any other circumstances.
Ensure on-time composition,
collection and delivery of application documents (transcript, teacher’s recommendation, etc) on behalf of the school.
Compose recommendation letters upon requirements.
Review college essays.
Submit timely reports to the Head of School and Group University Admissions Manager.
Write schools profile and transcript template.
The ideal candidate:
Has a bachelor's degree, preferably in education, psychology or any related field. - Has full working proficiency in English - Is a good time manager, is organized, has good writing and computer skills.
Specific training or experience with regard to university admissions counselling is an advantage.
