Job Purpose

The Manager, Corporate Communications will be responsible for branding and development of communication and marketing strategy for the Board to ensure the brand visibility and ensure effective service delivery by the Board.

Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail:-

Developing, managing, and overseeing the implementation of communication strategy and policy;

Managing corporate events;

Developing and managing information, education, and communication materials;

Ensuring a positive corporate image of the Board;

Managing corporate communications;

Managing and providing media liaison services; and

Developing managing and overseeing the implementation of corporate social responsibility programs

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must: -

Have at least eight (8) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been in supervisory role;

Have Bachelors Degree in Communications or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

Have Masters Degree in Communication or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

Have Professional qualification and membership where applicable;

Have Management course lasting not less four (4)weeks from a recognized institution;

Have Demonstrated results in work performance; and

Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
