Minimum Profile

A Master’s Degree in Natural Resources, Forestry, Climate and Energy Management;

At least 7 years of proven relevant experience in Climate and Forestry Management;

Proven experience in working with district official in the Natural Resources department;
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with Local Government officials and other actors in the region e.g. CSOs, Government Refugee Agencies, etc.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidimensional stakeholders

Understanding of the complexity of the relationship between refugees and host communities

Demonstrated ability to develop guidelines and tools in any of the fields of forestry, climate, and energy

Demonstrated ability to work with local communities and small-scale forest-based enterprises

An understanding of the practical connection of natural resources and energy, especially as it applies to local communities

Ability to work with the common computer programmes (word, excel, PowerPoint

Strong communication, reporting, negotiating and networking skills;

Experience in managing international co-operation programmes is an asset.

Salary Package and Application Procedure

Salary Package

Enabel will offer a gross salary package of between UGX 7,200,000 and UGX 8,000,000 medical insurance and a 13th Month package paid in December. Salary is accordance to the years of experience.
