Emerge Egress Consulting Truck Driver Jobs in Kenya; Our client is an Events Company in Kiambu and is seeking to hire a reliable, dedicated and safety conscious Truck Driver who will be responsible for ferrying goods to and from one point to another in good state and timely. The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record.


Core Duties and Responsibilities

Ensuring timely, accurate and safe delivery of goods.

Verify the accuracy of orders before departure and upon delivery.

Ability to handle unexpected situations such as roadblocks and vehicle breakdowns

Follow road safety guidelines.

Performing basic vehicle maintenance, including regular inspections, oil changes and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.

Plan delivery routes and schedules in coordination with the logistics team to ensure efficient use of time and resources.

Inspecting and maintaining the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Ensure proper handling and storage of goods during transport/transit to prevent damage or contamination.

Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships by providing an efficient, reliable, friendly and courteous service to all customers

Efficient route planning to minimize travel time and fuel consumption

Operate vehicle in an efficient and effective manner while reporting any technical issues as soon as possible.

Keep accurate records of all deliveries, including delivery times, locations, and goods delivered.

Load and unload goods at the various pick

up, destination points and client locations using various equipment as required.

Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper inventory management and reporting.

Job Specifications and Qualifications

KCSE Certificate, additional education or certification in logistics or a related field preferred.

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

At least 5 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in the logistics sector.

In depth knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
