Emerge Egress Consulting Sound Technician Jobs in Kenya; This is a full‑time, in‑person position for a Sound Technician responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining audio, video and lighting systems for live events, broadcasts and corporate functions.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up, position, secure and cable audio, video and lighting systems.

  • Conduct pre‑event testing to ensure all components function properly.

  • Load‑out equipment after performances.

  • Monitor and adjust volume levels and signal processing for optimal sound quality.

  • Operate equipment for live broadcasts, concerts and corporate events.

  • Capture high‑quality speech and music; convert analog recordings to digital formats.

  • Perform routine servicing to maintain equipment inventory.

  • Maintain accurate logs of recordings, equipment usage and maintenance.

  • Manage deployment of LED displays for live events.

  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

    Job Specifications & Qualifications

  • Diploma in Audio/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on experience (advanced education or additional experience a plus).

  • Strong technical knowledge and passion for broadcast and recorded sound.
