Emerge Egress Consulting Senior Advocate -Conveyancing, Real Estate & Banking Jobs in Kenya;A leading commercial and real estate law firm in Nairobi is recruiting an experienced Senior Associate Advocate to lead its Conveyancing and Commercial Law team.

This leadership role entails directing high‑value transactions, supervising the team, providing strategic legal advice, and driving departmental growth and client engagement.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert legal advice and opinions on property, real estate, corporate and commercial transactions.

  • Manage end‑to‑end conveyancing and commercial matters, including due diligence and execution of legal instruments.

  • Review, draft and negotiate contracts, security documentation and transfer instruments.

  • Oversee legal filings and engagements with statutory bodies (Land Registries, Companies Registry, Survey of Kenya, NLC, local authorities).

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, valuers, surveyors and lenders.

  • Lead and mentor team members, monitor performance and ensure timely service delivery.

  • Drive operational efficiency, strategic planning and risk management.

  • Foster business development, client retention and publish legal updates.

  • Collaborate across departments to improve client experience.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Specifications & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.

  • Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid Practising Certificate.

  • Minimum 5 years’ post‑admission experience in a busy law firm.

  • Proven track record in Conveyancing, Commercial, Corporate and Banking Law.

  • Hands‑on experience in property transactions and perfecting banking securities.

  • Management or leadership training an added advantage.
