Emerge Egress Consulting Commercial & Conveyancing Advocate - Nakuru Jobs in Kenya;A leading medium‑sized law firm specializing in diverse practice areas seeks advocates to join its team.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide legal opinions on property and real estate matters.

  • Draft conveyancing and legal documents.

  • Prepare terms of engagement and fee estimates.

  • Handle client matters before Lands Registry, Local Authorities, Survey of Kenya and National Lands Commission.

  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders including mortgage lenders, estate agents and valuers.

  • Provide legal advice on commercial and corporate transactions.

  • Negotiate, draft and review commercial contracts and ensure execution.

  • Advise clients on property purchase and sale processes.

  • Conduct due diligence, prepare sale agreements and completion documents, and ensure registration.

  • Prepare property lease agreements and oversee contract execution.

  • Liaise with government departments, surveyors and other stakeholders.

  • Assist with intellectual property issues related to contracts and agreements.

  • Enhance client base through effective liaison with existing clients.

  • Prepare security documents.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Specifications & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ post‑admission experience in a busy law firm.

  • Upper Second Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university.

  • Valid practising certificate.

  • Ability to manage pressure with integrity and professionalism.

  • Strong writing and reporting skills.

  • Excellent research and drafting abilities.
