Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the SCAC, the successful candidate will be in charge of the Campus France space at Alliance Française de Kampala (AFK) and its branch at Makerere University.

He or she will be required to carry out regular activities aimed at promoting French higher education in Uganda, especially in schools and universities; receive and provide relevant information and assistance to students; and ensure daily management of the two offices.

Skills Required

Excellent command of the English (B2 level) and French (C1) languages;

Knowledge of the French higher education system (ideally, someone who has studied in France or in a French system);

Master’s degree in French as a Foreign language, languages, communication, development cooperation, international relations, humanities and social sciences or any other course relevant to the post;

Flexibility, ease of public speaking, good interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, administrative discipline.

Duration

After a successful two month probation, a permanent local contract will be signed.

The employee will receive a monthly salary (amount may be communicated on request).
