Our client, one of the world’s leading manufacturer of personal care products is looking to fill the position of Electrical Technician.

Role Summary

Carry out execution of electrical and instrument tasks, working closely with the Production Engineers and Shift Managers

To undertake routine maintenance, servicing and updating of the electrical systems and appliances.

Design and execute PM tasks.

Trace, diagnose and rectify faults using appropriate testing and measuring equipment, ensuring systems and appliances are left in a safe and serviceable condition. To maintain test equipment as required.

Provide input in the implementation of Early Equipment Management Principles.

Qualifications / Requirements

At least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution;

Must be computer literate

2 years’ relevant experience

Job Specification

To undertake routine maintenance, servicing and updating of the electrical systems and appliances.

Build and continuously improve PM calendars
Execute PM and advanced AM tasks.

Track Engineering Operations KPIs, with improvement

guiding next execution steps.

Complete assigned cross-functional development assignments.

Competencies

Competency in the assembly of electromechanical equipment, including sensors, motors, controllers
Communication – the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and regularly with team members, client representatives

Competency in the testing and troubleshooting of completed equipment

Integrity and Confidentiality.

Emotional & Professional Bandwidth to handle competing demands with a knack for superior tactical planning, prioritization and execution.

Good understanding of inter-functional relationships for a multinational set-up
