Effluent Treatment Plant Operator Job in Kenya

Job Vacancy: Effluent Treatment Plant Operator

Location: Nairobi

Salary: KShs 25,000 monthly

Job Responsibilities

Performs all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with NEMA for factory effluent

Assist with the inspection of the waste water line and sewer line and services

Perform the installation maintenance, repair of the physical plant, and pump installations and all their components

Assist in the performance of regular maintenance and repairs on all equipment and machinery

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in relevant field.

Experience in a Effluent treatment plant for more than 3 yrs

Past experience in food processing plants

Be able to Perform daily checks of the waste water treatment process

Have a working knowledge of the operation, methods and procedures of waste water treatment plant

Has a working knowledge of the machinery used for waste water treatment

Have thorough knowledge mechanical equipment and the ability to diagnose and correct equipment malfunction

Has a working basic knowledge of machinery preventive maintenance and repair
