Objectives

• Development of new business opportunities through lead generation and pipeline management through the various stages of the sales cycle to closure

• Take a lead role in developing new-business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships

• Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets

• Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new-venture integration

• Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks to achieve strategic goals

• Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics

Responsibilities

• Articulate the value of Echotel through presentations, demonstrations, and open discussions with C-level executives.

• New revenue generation (from new logos/cross-sell/upsell) and developing effective territory strategies & go to market approaches

• Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics

• Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

• Book deals with maximum contracted, minimum spend that exceed profitability threshold

• Identify client needs and suggest innovative and appropriate products/services

• Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

• Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and senior members of the company to build robust relationships at various levels of the company structure

• Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner

• Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams

• Attend and contribute at sales meetings.

• Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly
with managers and stakeholders to discuss strategy

• Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources

• Support deal structure and pricing with business-value analysis, and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals

• Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations

• Attend sales training sessions to be able to answer product-related questions from clients.

• Deliver exceptional client service.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor activity, products, and services.

• Ensure that forecast and pipeline data is captured in the system with no more than a 15% variance of forecast versus actual

• Keep CRM/SOLID system data pristine for assigned accounts, including but not limited to their monthly MRR, existing services, pending opportunities, and account status for each client in preparation for handover to an assigned account manager.

• Identify and report client pain points and provide a monthly period report on the same.

• Give a monthly report on the client account related to any lost/churned services or clients.

• Escalate and highlight client issues to Senior Management when needed.

• Assist the Head of Sales with client relations issues and reporting.

• Assist the Head of Sales to organize customer-focused events

• Give product and service presentations to external and internal clients.

• Client visits - meeting key decision makers, studying, and understanding their requirements to offer useful solutions.

• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

• 5 years of proven work experience as a business account manager in an ISP

• Hands-on experience with CRM software

• Understanding of sales performance metrics and track record of achieving sales quotas

• Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in sales techniques

• Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting

• Proven ability to plan and manage resources

• Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

• Mature and responsible individual.
