Eastern Africa Farmers Federation Policy and Advocacy Officer Jobs in Kenya


Eastern Africa Farmers Federation Policy and Advocacy Officer Jobs in Kenya;The Policy and Advocacy Officer will manage EAFF’s policy and advocacy department, leading the development and implementation of strategies that strengthen farmer organizations and influence agricultural policy frameworks at regional and international levels.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the EAFF policy and advocacy master plan

  • Build capacity of member organizations in policy and advocacy

  • Implement programs and projects related to policy and advocacy

  • Represent EAFF at regional, continental, and international policy events

  • Contribute to fundraising through new projects and programs

  • Perform other activities as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer

    Requisite Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Political Science, or related field

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in policy analysis, advocacy, and policy‑related program management

  • Strong understanding of agricultural policy frameworks and farmer organization dynamics

  • Experience working with government institutions and multi‑stakeholder platforms

  • Proven ability to write high‑quality policy briefs and reports

  • Preference for candidates with NGO experience
