Major Responsibilities

This role is responsible for greeting customers and helping them find specific products within the store, taking inventory of products and restocking shelves as needed and managing the POS system to administer refunds or process payments for customers.

Detail Responsibilities

  • Answer
    and transfer telephone calls or take messages

  • Sort and deliver incoming mail and send outgoing mail

  • Schedule appointments and receive customers or visitors

  • Provide general information to staff, clients, or the public

  • Conduct any clerical tasks (Type, format, or edit routine memos or other reports)

  • Follow up progressive tasks

  • Prepare reports

  • Copy, file, and update paper and electronic documents

  • Forwarding proper messages to co-workers and to customers

  • Prepare and process bills and other office documents

  • Collect information and perform data entry

    Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree, Information Technology, clerical science, marketing or related fields with at least 2-1 year relevant experience.

    Additional Skill

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Clerk or similar role.

  • MS proficiency (word, Excel…..)

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to remain calm with difficult customers.

  • Prior experience in retail.

  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Sales Clerk.
