Earlybird Schools Geography & Mathematics Teacher Jobs in Kenya; We are seeking a driven and experienced Geography & Mathematics teacher to join our dynamic team. The Geography / Mathematics teacher will provide high-quality instruction in both Geography and Mathematics to students, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Level: Junior Secondary

Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that adhere to the national curriculum and school objectives for Geography and Mathematics.

Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and other evaluation methods to track and support student growth.

Create a positive, engaging classroom environment that fosters learning, curiosity, and respect for diverse views.

Develop lesson plans and teaching materials to cater to various learning styles and accommodate different abilities within the classroom.

Provide support and guidance to students both academically and personally, acting as a role model. Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and discuss strategies for improvement.

Maintain good order and discipline amongst students in accordance with the school's behavior policy. Participate in meetings which relate to the school's management, curriculum, administration as well as organization.

Ensure prompt and regular attendance of students and report any

absence to the Principal or Deputy Principal in good time.

Perform any other duties as directed by the Principal, Deputy Principal or any other senior management staff

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

At least 2 years of experience in teaching.

Must be well conversant with CBC.

Must be registered by Teacher Service Commission.

Must have good communication skills

Should have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to engage and motivate students.

Passionate about teaching and nurturing students' personal and academic growth.
