Person Specification

Qualifications, Background & Experience

  • Good Honours Degree and teacher training qualification for the 11–18 age range.

  • Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience, ideally 5+ years.

  • Ability to teach Music up to IGCSE and A Level.

  • Valid Teacher Service Commission Certificate (Kenyan applicants) OR PGCE / Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / general education degree (overseas applicants).

  • Skilled classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and awareness of teaching methodology.
