Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation Project Support Intern/Volunteer Jobs in Nigeria;The Mukwege Foundation is a survivor‑centred organisation dedicated to ending sexual violence as a weapon of war globally. Its VOICE programme strengthens survivors’ agency to influence policy and practice, while SEMA – the Global Network of Victims and Survivors – provides a safe platform for solidarity, advocacy and lobbying for survivors’ rights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support survivor networks and SEMA with drafting reports, monitoring/evaluation, workshops and trainings.

  • Conduct desk research on country contexts and opportunities.

  • Assist with logistics for activity implementation and in‑country visits.

  • Manage relationships with local partners (contracts, reports).

  • Support donor reporting (narrative and financial).

  • Draft social media content on VOICE activities.

  • Maintain shared folders, update internal tools, take minutes during meetings.

  • Undertake other agreed tasks of similar nature.

    Candidate Profile

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Perfect command of English (oral and written).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Detail‑oriented, autonomous, proactive and able to prioritise under pressure.

  • Commitment to women’s rights and survivor‑centred approach.

  • Desirable: French/Arabic knowledge; social media familiarity; contextual knowledge of project countries.

    Conditions

  • Volunteer or internship basis.

  • Small monthly allowance offered (per Dutch law).

  • Must be based in the Netherlands.

  • Adherence to Mukwege Foundation Code of Conduct and NDA required.
