Job Title:

  • Door to Door Sales – Food Distribution

    Location:

  • Nairobi

    Our client is in the food distribution business.

    They are looking to hire aggressive sales agents to promote the food, identify customer needs and propose the best solutions that will achieve the set sales targets.

    Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the food door to door to corporate offices
  • Identify customers’ needs and propose the best solutions; optimize customers’ accounts and proactively cross-sell and upsell
  • Identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory and achieve set sales targets
  • Keep track of all customers and preferences by serving as the main contact liaison
  • Generate revenue by going out to look for external sales from the environment
  • Monitoring database of all customers served
  • Ensure optimal customer experience through service given and follow up on all inquires
  • Attend events to increase brand awareness and acquire new contacts

    Qualifications

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business related degree
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • At least 1 year of experience in related field (preferably sales, customer relations, or merchandising)
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and target-driven
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in
    a team
  • Customer and business focused attitude
    Sense of humor when faced with rejection
  • Go-getter: you hate wasting time and want to get things done.
  • Proactive attitude to look for clients and use all the necessary tools to achieve results
  • Ability to multi-task and get things done to completion
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
