d.light Area Business Manager - Isiolo Jobs in Kenya


The Area Business Manager; will be responsible for managing all d.light sales activities within a defined geographical territory to achieve revenue targets for PAYGO and portable products. The role requires strong leadership, sales execution, and relationship management to ensure visibility, availability, and growth of d.light products.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure visibility and availability of d.light products in assigned territory.

  • Provide reports, feedback on market intelligence, and competition.

  • Execute sales activities within designated territory.

  • Achieve defined targets including sales, merchandising, outlet growth, customer satisfaction, and journey planning.

  • Ensure recruited outlets meet defined criteria.

  • Manage and coordinate Territory Business Executives (TBEs).

  • Plan journeys for self and TBEs for optimal efficiency.

  • Maintain business relationships with outlets to ensure stock availability.

  • Ensure adequate stock of POS materials and enforce merchandising.

  • Train outlet owners/managers on products, selling tools, POS materials, and warranty handling.

  • Provide feedback on execution plans to Regional Business Manager.

  • Coordinate regional outlet activities including stock movement and reorders.

    Key Performance Indicators

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets for PAYGO and portable portfolio.

  • Optimize active sales headcount.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, or related field.

  • Previous experience as a Territory Sales Manager.

  • 4–5 years of sales experience in
    a related industry is an added advantage.

  • Experience in rapid sales growth environments.

  • Proven track record of exceeding targets and building partnerships.

  • Excellent people and relationship‑building skills.

  • Strong problem‑solving capability with ability to create win‑win outcomes.

  • Willingness to spend an average of 4 days a week in the field.

  • Valid Kenya driving license.

  • Strong mindset for continuous improvement, discretion, and confidentiality.

  • Passion for social enterprise, people development, and environmental benefits.
