The role of the Senior Microsoft License Specialist is to support, manage, and administer contracts for software and application services and products across their assigned area of responsibility. The Software Licensing Specialist will also define and facilitate communication between the business and its providers / vendors in order to deliver software and applications according to plan and within budget, and to ensure licensing compliance.

Requirements

Ensure contribution to Revenue Targets – Drive new licensing clients wins.

Meeting of revenue targets for specific accounts.

Achieve individual and Software Services revenue goals.

Ensure adoption and completion for all renewals as part of T-36.

Ensure pre-sales inclusion for value discussion around licensing enablement, uncover Managed Services Opportunities.

Engaging with Tier1 and Tier 2 accounts to drive

your licensing solution.

Ensure transparent modelling pertaining to licensing business impact for clients which include financial calculations and licensing options which include new enrolments.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field required.

4-6+ years of experience selling Microsoft licensing solutions.

Understanding of all Microsoft corporate licensing solutions.

Management/Team leader experience, about 2 to 3 years.

Relevant IT industry experience.

Previous Microsoft licensing experience (advantage).

Must be willing to work overtime when required.

Must be willing to do business travel to customer sites as and when required.
