Description

This role fits into the Intelligent Infrastructure division of Dimension Data. The main objectives are to ensure revenue assurance processes and controls are implemented and adhered to. Revenue versus Cost Analysis, client profitability, cost management and reconciliation. Interaction with Product managers is also a key function.

Main Duties and Key Accountabilities

Revenue and Cost Assurance

Manage revenue and cost assurance processes and implementing controls

Prioritisation of team tasks

Analysis of client profitability

Review and approval of client realignments/renewals

WIP Installs management

Analysis of timing of 3rd party cost activation versus client billing

Cost Management

Reconciliation of key suppliers

Approval of related purchase orders

Month-end cost accruals

Tracking vendor queries where incorrectly invoiced or credits expected

Margin analysis

Reporting

Month-end analysis and reporting

Assist in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes

WIP and sales reporting analysis and apply impact on forecast – product management input

Report cost by supplier by country on a monthly basis

Other projects

Cost saving initiatives – drive initiatives and manage teams to track on target

ISPIC and TCMS integration

and automation process

Data clean-up projects

Product costing

Product profitability

Qualifications

B-Com Accounting degree or similar

Experience and Skills

At least 5 years' experience in Finance or Commercial role

Experience in Telecoms industry will be beneficial

Strong Excel skills essential

Oracle Financials or similar ERP exposure is essential
