DIB Bank Kenya Limited Manager - Finance Business Planning & Budgeting Jobs; Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role holder will manage the planning and budgeting process for the Bank, monitor performance against set targets, and partner with business units through periodic reviews. Responsible for financial results, forecasts, MIS systems, and business databases that deliver detailed reports and analysis. Drive cost and revenue optimisation and support strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

Business Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

Support strategic thrust through planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring.

Analyse and interpret financial information, including variance analysis.

Advise on implications of new initiatives, product launches, and risk profiling.

Business MIS & Business Intelligence

Provide timely performance figures for Distribution, Corporate, and Treasury businesses.

Deliver business intelligence through segment, product, branch, and channel analysis.

Provide KPIs for frontline staff including Branch Managers and Relationship Managers.

Manage accounts and reporting, including cost allocation and Funds Transfer Pricing.

Produce dashboards, scorecards, and profitability reports.

Contribute to strategic channel management through MIS data analysis.

Financial Reporting

Provide backup for Manager, Financial Controls in statutory accounts preparation.

Prepare financial accounts for management review, Group reporting, and Board papers.

Cost Control & Revenue Optimisation

Identify efficiency

improvement opportunities.

Conduct revenue assurance audits and advise on pricing and cost of funds.

Project Accounting & Reporting

Ensure projects are documented and approved with financial analysis.

Conduct post‑implementation reviews and challenge business owners to include benefits in budgets.

Principal Accountabilities & KPIs

Business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.

Produce performance reports by customers, segments, products, channels, and branches.

Provide KPI measures for frontline staff.

Maintain updated MIS database and improve turnaround for ad‑hoc requests.

Deliver accurate management information for decision‑making.

Improve quality of management reports and cost centre reporting.

Key Relationships

Internal: Head of Finance, Business Heads (Corporate, Distribution, Treasury), HR, Operations, IT, Internal Audit, Compliance, Business Analysts.

External: Central Bank, regulatory authorities, external auditors, tax advisors.

Qualifications & Experience

Fully qualified CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent.

University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Studies.

Minimum 7 years’ post‑qualification experience in accounting or audit.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Strong numerical and computer skills (Excel proficiency).

Data mining skills using SQL.
