DIB Bank Kenya Limited Branch Manager - Moi Avenue Jobs; To develop and manage the branch portfolio and to lead the branch effectively to ensure the achievement of assigned branch business objectives/targets for deposits, financing assets, cards, and product sales targets, profitability objectives, and implementation of superior customer service culture and standards, while adhering to the Bank’s policies and guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities Cascade sales targets assigned by the Head of Distribution and Branches (or CEO/Managing Director in his absence) to branch staff, implement action plans, and track performance to ensure achievement of set targets and business growth objectives
Meet regularly with branch customers, including important/high net worth customers, to assist in business growth
Manage product portfolio of each line of products and control branch cost and profitability
Customer Service
Maintain high levels of customer service in front office functions (cash management, remittances, drafts, account opening/inquiry & maintenance, sales and after-sales) by reducing customer waiting time and service time
Promote a high level of customer service culture among branch staff for potential acquisitions
Service Quality & Business Operations Control
Attend all audit requirements and strive for low-risk audit ratings, ensuring branch operations comply with Bank policies, operating manuals, service quality standards, and code of conduct
Maintain low risk of cash differences by following processes diligently, keeping detailed accounting records of daily cash flow, and reviewing MIS reports
Monitor customer complaints and mystery shopping results, recommend measures to improve scores, and ensure high customer satisfaction
Ensure safety and security measures are in place and maintain communication with
police when required
Internal Process
Lead branch projects (service quality programs, process changes, sales, etc.) and support launch of new products/services
Maintain accurate archives of branch transaction records, vouchers, and reports
Follow up on cases with customers and internal departments to ensure 100% closure
Training & Development
Analyze training needs of staff and nominate them for appropriate courses to close skill gaps
Conduct regular staff meetings to build engagement and job satisfaction
Ensure proper staff management in terms of annual leave, performance appraisal, and resource allocation to meet branch business requirements
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (minimum); Master’s degree will be an advantage
General banking knowledge and local/international market knowledge
Computer skills and accounting/financial capability
Minimum of four (4) years in a similar role (experience in a Sharia-compliant bank will be an added advantage)
