Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure product revenue and profitability targets are achieved/exceeded by understanding customer business needs through consultative selling

Match customer needs with product capabilities via tailored demonstrations and proposals

Negotiate/renegotiate terms and conditions with customers to maximize revenue and profitability

Identify opportunities for cross-selling and referrals to other banking lines by developing a good understanding of client needs

Provide structured solutions to meet specific cash management requirements of customers and prospects

Undertake disciplined product-oriented sales management while monitoring, tracking, and reporting on sales activity periodically

Assist product management and development in strategic product rollouts

Support customer needs, trends, and product/market intelligence for new product developments/enhancements

Facilitate customer service issues and ensure high-level post-sales service is always available

Perform any other duties assigned by the team leader from time to time

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field from a recognized university

Minimum of five (5) years’ banking experience, with at least three (3) years in business development for Corporate/Commercial segment

Excellent financial acumen and analytical thinking skills

Excellent sales and marketing skills

Strong interpersonal skills

In-depth knowledge of commercial banking products
