Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAS Developer, on a contract basis, with a strong background in cloud management to support our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAS programming, data management, and analytics, coupled with expertise in deploying and managing SAS solutions in cloud environments.

This role requires a candidate with a keen analytical mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to contribute to the ongoing success of our data analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

Design, implement, and optimise SAS solutions for data analytics and reporting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAS programs.

Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot SAS applications deployed in cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Implement security measures and adhere to best practices for SAS deployment in cloud architectures.

Participate in the planning and execution of data governance and quality initiatives.

Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements

in SAS technologies and cloud platforms.

Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams regarding SAS and cloud-related inquiries.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a SAS Developer with a minimum of 5 years in SAS programming and analytics.

Demonstrated expertise in deploying and managing SAS solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Strong proficiency in SAS programming languages, SQL, and data manipulation techniques.
