Our Forensics team sits with the Financial Advisory Africa team. The value that Deloitte Forensics Africa creates for organisations is synonymous with operational excellence. Our business areas work in unison to provide integrated solutions unique to the organisational requirements of any business.

Investigations
Enables client to react confidently in a crisis or investigation, leveraging Deloitte’s global network, deep industry experience, and advanced analytical technology
Articulates and quantifies the wider implications of any misappropriation, corruption, theft or financial crime by drawing upon deep technical and industry knowledge
Advises client on the development of internal investigation capabilities to enable to respond to future improper conduct incidents with consistency and transparency
Helps client operationalize recommendations to remediate to internal control weaknesses and implement ongoing monitoring systems
Conducts 30/60/90 day follow up reviews to test implementation effectiveness and help mitigate future risk
Implement Fraud Risk Assessment
Best Practice & Deloitte Methodology for example, the Deloitte Fraud Perception Survey
Assess the client current Fraud Risk Policy and Procedures
Assist with the development of clients Fraud Risk Culture/Awareness Plan
Develop clients Fraud Risk Policies and procedures
Develop Fraud Risk Assessment Reports/ Matrix/ Document the risk assessment process & conclusions
Prepare Fraud Risk Action Plan Implement Plan
Design strategies and techniques for the client to continuous monitoring of Fraud Risk
Design a Fraud Strategy, Governance and Policy, devising roadmaps, frameworks and structure related to the detection and prevention of fraud
Educates senior management on Fraud Risk Management best practices to enhance Fraud Risk Awareness/Culture
Qualifications
Required
Degree in relevant field (accounting, law, forensic)/CA (SA), Internal Audit essential
Minimum of 4 to 8 years’ of professional experience in Forensic and Fraud investigation experience required
Preferred
Experience in a client facing role
CFE/MBA is advantageous
