Applicants to these positions must be committed Christians, who show evidence of involvement in their local churches.

Studio Technician
Purpose of the Job:

Providing technical support to faculty and students in the Studios in line with the school of communication strategy to achieve overall objectives

Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited and recognized institution

At least five (5) years of relevant experience as a Studio technician

Proven studio management technical skills

Christian commitment and practice

Responsibilities:

Setting up of facilities for use by faculty for teaching and training of students in the studios.

Ensuring the production studios, recorders and editing facilities are functional.

Ensuring that students and staff have access to studio facilities for training and practice.

Coordinating the acquisition of equipment and materials required for the studio, radio stations,
photography and video editing.

Troubleshooting equipment problems and perform maintenance or minor repairs

Ensuring security of studios and equipment.

Setting up public address systems as instructed while ensuring safety and security of equipment and people

Implementing of best practices in the communication studio management for improved
performance and achievements.

Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired university plans and culture

Ensuring Christian behaviour and appropriate behaviour both internal and external in line with the institutions vision
