Requirements

Diploma in Medical Lab Science from an accredited KMTC

Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Lab Science

MSc Medical Lab Science is an added advantage

Three (3) years Clinical experience since graduation.

Valid Practicing license from relevant body

Additional training or certification in the relevant area will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Building of specimen repository for the biomedical laboratories

Ensuring best practices in the management of science, technology and biomedical laboratories for improved performance and achievements.

Ensuring Christian behaviour and appropriate behaviour both internal and external in line with the institutions vision.

Ensuring security and safety in the laboratories.

Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired university plans and culture.

Preparing & setting up of equipment for use by faculty for teaching in the laboratories

Preparing practical session manuals and procedures in line with set standards.

Requisition of laboratory equipment and inventory management.

Training of students on the handling and use of laboratory equipment to ensure safety and security in the lab for both users and equipment
