Job Summary

The Officer, Talent Acquisition and On-Boarding provides assistance in implementing the activities related to talent acquisition and on-boarding including participating in job design, recruitment and selection and orientation processes.

Job Requirements

Academic and Professional Qualifications and Knowledge

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management or related discipline from a reputable university.

Professional qualification(s) in Human Resources is an added advantage.

Experience

At least four (4) years relevant, post-qualification experience in a similar role.

Required Technical Competencies

Technical experience in Human Resources and/or Business Administration.

Knowledge of best and current HR practices and approaches.

Knowledge of various interview techniques and evaluation methods and how to maximize their use.

Knowledge and understanding of appropriate employment branding and marketing tools, methods and approaches; and ability to measure effectiveness and reach.

A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.

Proficient in the use of social media,

Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, CV databases and interview techniques
