Job Summary

Marketing & Customer Experience Department is responsible for the creation, development, evaluation and implementation of the Bank’s marketing strategy.


The job holder is responsible for planning, coordinating, leading and controlling of the Bank’s Marketing & Corporate Communication functions.

The Job holder will also lead communications and customer engagement programs and develop innovative approaches to research, collaboration, and customer satisfaction measurement to create improved value for the Bank and enhanced experiences for customers.

Job Requirements

Academic and Professional Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management, Management or related discipline from a reputable university.
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management, Management or related discipline from a reputable university is an added advantage.
  • Professional qualification(s) in Marketing e.g. CIM or equivalent are added advantages.

    Experience

  • At least Thirteen
    (13) years’ of relevant experience, with five (5) years in a managerial capacity.

    Core Technical Competencies Required for the Role

  • Proven track record in conceptualizing and implementing marketing and communication strategies and ability to establish clear metrics for campaign/initiative effectiveness.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing concepts.
    Knowledge of Digital/Online/Social Media strategy, audience management and analytics.
  • Ability to identify and interpret consumer and market trend analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of public relations/media relations and corporate communications best practices. Corporate Social Investment strategy and implementation knowledge.
  • Ability to draft and Co-ordinate production of corporate literature and presentations, corporate award submissions, concept papers, company publications, press releases, and other public communication in electronic and hard copy format.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to lead, influence and drive change initiatives in support of business strategies within the department/unit.
