Dangote GroupStore Manager - Issuing Jobs in Nigeria ;Dangote Industries Limited is seeking to recruit a Store Manager – Issuing to oversee materials issuance operations at the Obajana Plant. The successful candidate will ensure correct material selection, timely issuance, accurate documentation, and strict control to support uninterrupted plant operations while minimizing stock losses and misuse.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily issuing activities to production, maintenance, and contractors according to approved requisitions.

  • Verify requisitions for authorization, specification, and availability before issue; escalate discrepancies.

  • Ensure accurate picking, kitting, and staging of materials; maintain FIFO/FEFO discipline.

  • Issue materials using ERP/WMS modules and archive issue documents.

  • Control issuance of critical spares and high‑value items with approval matrix enforcement.

  • Work with Planning and Maintenance to prioritize urgent breakdown requests.

  • Supervise issuing team: training, rostering, appraisals, and coaching.

  • Conduct regular physical checks of issuing points and reconcile with central stores records.

  • Prevent theft, pilferage, and unauthorized issuance through access control and strict sign‑off procedures.

  • Support preventive stock level reviews and suggest reorder/critical level adjustments.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Percentage of on‑time issues to Maintenance/Production.

  • Accuracy of issues (picked vs. requested).

  • Number of unauthorized or unapproved issues.

  • Rate of stockouts for critical spares.

    Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ stores/issuing experience in heavy industry; cement or large manufacturing preferred.

  • Hands‑on experience with ERP stores modules and material issue
    workflows.

    Skills and Competencies
  • Strong process discipline and accountability.

  • Knowledge of spare parts identification and technical reading of parts.

  • Customer‑service orientation towards internal stakeholders.

  • Numerical accuracy and record‑keeping skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage emergency demands.
