Dangote Group SAP HCM Payroll Senior Consultant Jobs in Nigeria; Lead the design, implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. Ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements. Translate complex HR processes into effective system solutions and guide clients through successful transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis

  • Lead workshops with HR stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.

  • Advise clients on SAP HCM best practices and process improvements.

    SAP HCM Solution Design & Configuration

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP HCM modules: Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll (PY).

  • Develop and maintain schemas and personnel calculation rules (PCRs).

  • Ensure integration with other SAP modules (FI/CO, PM).

    Custom Development & Enhancements

  • Write functional specifications for ABAP developers.

  • Collaborate with technical teams on custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements.

  • Perform configuration and customization using IMG.

    Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop test plans and scenarios.

  • Lead unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Manage defect resolution and ensure system accuracy.

    Data Migration & Reporting

  • Support ETL activities for HCM data migration.

  • Design HR reports using SAP reporting tools and custom specifications.

    Support & Training

  • Provide expert functional support for SAP HCM modules.

  • Develop training materials and conduct end‑user training.

  • Assist in post‑go‑live support and hyper care.

    Project Leadership & Mentorship

  • Act as lead consultant on SAP HCM projects.

  • Manage project workstreams and stakeholder expectations.

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to consulting methodologies.

    Qualifications

    Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field.

    Experience

  • 8+ years’ hands‑on SAP HCM consulting experience.

  • 3–4 full lifecycle SAP HCM implementations.

  • Deep expertise in PA, OM, TM, and Payroll modules.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance.

    Skills

  • SAP HCM configuration expertise (schemas, PCRs, wage types, infotypes).

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

    Desired Skills (Plus Points)

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA HCM.

  • Knowledge of Benefits, Recruitment, Personnel Development, or Training modules.

  • Integration with SuccessFactors.

  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging.

  • Relevant SAP HCM certifications.

  • Consulting firm experience
