Dangote Group Land Development Officer Jobs in Nigeria;Dangote Industries Limited is seeking to recruit a Land Development Officer to support agricultural development projects in Adamawa. The successful candidate will coordinate land preparation activities, manage machinery and labor performance, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with approved designs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all land development activities including ploughing, harrowing, GPS leveling, and ridging/drip insertion.

  • Supervise workshops for breakdowns, maintenance, and fueling of machines.

  • Monitor execution and performance of operators and machinery against timelines.

  • Maintain effective communication with workshops and the land development manager.

  • Address and resolve labor performance issues, disputes, or scope changes with the manager.

  • Ensure milestones and deadlines are met with proper documentation.

  • Collaborate with land development managers and external partners for smooth project delivery.

  • Maintain organized records of land development documents and provide regular correspondence.

  • Report on project progress, deliverables, and performance metrics to management.

    Educational Qualification and Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Mechanical Engineering, Survey, or related field.

  • Experience in managing land preparation related to agriculture and irrigation systems.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in land development operations.

    Skills and Competencies
  • In‑depth knowledge of agricultural mechanization (e.g., GPS‑guided ploughing, harrowing, leveling, and ridging).

  • Familiarity with survey terminology and GPS leveling field designs.

  • Ability to manage labor and machinery to minimize budget overruns.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

  • Integrity, discretion, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
