Dangote Group Internal Control Officer - Numan Jobs in Nigeria;The Internal Control Officer will assess the design and implementation of internal controls, conduct reviews, and provide recommendations to management for enhancing control environments and minimizing risks. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, identifying control deficiencies, and promoting a culture of accountability and integrity.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls, including segregation of duties, access controls, and authorization processes.

  • Perform reviews and testing procedures to assess reliability and accuracy of financial and operational information.

  • Document findings and recommendations in audit reports and communicate results to management.

  • Collaborate with managers and process owners to address control deficiencies and implement corrective actions.

  • Monitor remediation efforts and track action plans for audit findings.

  • Provide training and guidance on internal control principles, policies, and procedures.

  • Conduct investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, or irregularities.

    Educational Qualification & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./HND) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Banking & Finance.

  • ACA certification (advantageous).

  • Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience.
