The EMEA Parts Coordinator & Forecasting is primarily in charge of ordering all spare parts related to cepheid instrumentation.
Both for Repair centers activity and for Shipment to customers.
The EMEA Parts Coordinator & Forecasting is in charge of driving on time delivery and behavior for all our suppliers, most specifically Cepheid US which is the main parts supplier today.
Part of the relationship with the suppliers is to provide them accurate forecast, collected internally with Repair center team and Customer Care department.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Forecast
Collect Repair centers production forecast in EMEA
Collect Market demand for parts intended to be shipped to customers in EMEA
Enter parts forecast in SAP to automate supply
Share Forecast of RC spare parts with suppliers, mainly with Cepheid US
Share Forecast of Field spare parts with suppliers, mainly with Cepheid US
Ordering of parts
Order timely spare parts (PSI process) for RC & Field
Ensure parts are correctly received in the right SLOC
Inventory management
Define relevant FGI SLOC (in RC, FSE, ASP)
Ensure right stock level in all SLOC
Manage safety
stocks based on parts importance, quality and time to deliver
Ensure cost of inventory remains at suitable level
Continuous improvement and Quality
Identify quality issues with parts. Propose incoming inspection if required
Anticipate on shortages. Propose parts for whom alternate vendor needs to be found
Pilot KPI to measure forecast accuracy, OTD of parts, cost of inventory and stocks levels
Minimum Requirements:
Education or Experience (in years):
High school degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of related work experience.
Knowledge and skills:
Strong collaborations skills, able to achieve success by leading teamwork across the organization
Experience of leading of leading multilingual Service operations across multiple locations
Ability to work quickly and under pressure
Builds an environment of continuous improvement, drives effective change
Very thorough, detail oriented, and excellent communication skills
Knowledgeable in SAP or any other major ERP system (QAD, JDE, Oracle, …)
Skilled at data aggregation, trend analysis, and other operational reporting
Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English
Excel manipulation. Pivot table level at least. Macro level appreciated
