Dairy Processing Finance Manager Jobs in Kenya

Our Client is a dairy processing company with over 15 years in operations.

They seek to hire a Finance manager who will assume overall responsibility of financial reporting of the company including budgeting, monthly forecasting, working capital management and all financial activities.

Responsibilities

Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

Developing and managing relations with other stakeholders among them banks and auditors (Internal and External)

Ensure that periodic financial reports are prepared and presented on time and in the appropriate manner taking into consideration the legal requirements.

Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.

Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
Make Budgetary and Financial forecasts accurately and communicate the same to the General Manager and/or the Board of Directors as and when required.

Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.

Monitors and analyses department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Conduct reviews

and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate
Undertake any other tasks as may be prescribed from time to time by management

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

CPA (K) or ACCA holder

At least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a manufacturing facility

Team leadership skills

Reporting and managing Board relations and expectations will be a plus

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Good understanding of the operations of Finance function

Posses high sense of integrity and confidentiality
